What’s the future of housing in Wichita?
Join us for an evening to dissect a topic that impacts everyone: housing. Renters, homeowners, landlords, policymakers, and all other Wichitans are welcome, no expertise is required! We’ll hear from a panel of community leaders and then meet in small groups to collect experiences, ideas, and questions about housing for the Wichita Journalism Collaborative. Your insights will help shape our coverage as WJC continues to report on this complex challenge.
Panelists include:
– Danielle Johnson, Executive Director of Wichita Habitat for Humanity
– Pete Nájera, President & CEO of United Way of the Plains
– Sally Stang, Director of Housing and Community Services for the City of Wichita
– Dr. Stan Longhofer, Professor and Stephen L. Clark Chair of Real Estate and Finance and Director of WSU Center for Real Estate
Advanced registration is encouraged, so RSVP today!
